Week 48 - Closed
A traditional Pakistani meal is three or four dishes (meat or fish, lentils, vegetables) served with a side of rice, naan and raita or pickles. Here you can order the full combination for one or more people.
New meal combination are announced every week, with a limited number of meals (15 portions per week, førstemann til mølla). Order by Sunday, pick up on Wednesday. Possible to buy extra and freeze for another day.
There are no plastic containers here because of their effect on people and the planet. You can choose paper with bio lining or aluminium containers (available in the start up period) or glass containers. There is a deposit for the glass containers that you get back when you return the containers. If you order or plan to order food more than one week, you do not pay the deposit again, just return the last container when you pick up the new order!
I use mostly organic spices, oils and vegetables (as available). The chicken is always of the saktevoksende kind (organic option will be available soon), høylandsfe is always grassfed and organic from Agder or Telemark. Fish is wild Norwegian fish. No fillers in gravy - only fresh vegetables, homemade bone broth and nuts where indicated.
We do this right her på øya!
Imli's story

Imli began on the back of countless meals with friends and family from across the world, gathered around our table and letting me experiment with food. The best of Norway coupled with the best of Pakistan, and other countries we have lived in and visited. Inspiration that is global, ingredients that are as local as possible. I am passionate about food and sustainable choices that are good for people and the planet. Imli - I write this story as I go, together with everyone who has encouraged and contributed to this hobby.
The word Imli means Tamarind in Urdu. Imli is the taste of childhood and of special occasions, it's a contrast of sweet and sour, it's tree offers shade and respite on sharp summer days. One taste of imli is a thousand memories.
